Young baseball players will have a chance to learn the fundamentals of baseball once again this summer at Christie Pits.
The Toronto Maple Leafs will hold a week long summer baseball camp for kids on Dominico Field at Christie Pits for the second consecutive year. Beginning July
5th, Leaf players will take part in six separate one-week baseball camps to help players develop proper stretching, throwing, hitting, base running, and fielding, all to improve their game.
The camp days will be comprised of multiple activities, with a typical day looking like this:
• 9:00am-9:30am - Stretching and Throwing
• 9:30am-11:30am - Station Instruction (Infield, Outfield, Pitching, and Live Hitting)
• 12:00pm-12:45pm - Lunch
• 1:00pm-3:00pm - Game Situations
The camp will conclude with a live game played amongst the campers based on age and talent level. Admission to camp is just $100 per player, and spots are filling quickly, so be sure to contact Damon Topolie at (416) 994-7441 or by email at
