It was a banner season for the Toronto Maple Leafs' Joe Colameco. The Intercounty Baseball League's batting champion won the Paul Stella Memorial Trophy as the league's playoff MVP. He also captured the Forbes Walkey Memorial Trophy as the Leafs' MVP.

The John Douris Memorial Trophy for the Leaf's best pitcher went to Paul Spoljaric.
