Leafs win season high fourth straight versus Baycats

The Toronto Maple Leafs are starting to get on a bit of roll.

Kern Watts drove in the winning run with a ninth inning single as the Leafs won their fourth straight game, downing the Barrie Baycats 7-6 in Intercounty Baseball League play Thursday night in Barrie.

Leafs claim comeback victory over T-Birds in bottom of the ninth

It was Jordan Castaldo’s turn to play hero on Wednesday night at Dominico Field at Christie Pits.

Castaldo belted a two-out, walk-off homer in the bottom of the ninth inning to lift the Toronto Maple Leafs to a dramatic 5-4 win over the Hamilton Thunderbirds in Intercounty Baseball League play.

Hamilton led 4-0 heading to the bottom of the seventh inning but the Leafs scored three runs in the seventh and a single in the eighth before Castaldo’s heroics in the ninth ended the game.

Summer Baseball Camp on the Way Back Again!

Young baseball players will have a chance to learn the fundamentals of baseball once again this summer at Christie Pits.

The Toronto Maple Leafs will hold a week long summer baseball camp for kids on Dominico Field at Christie Pits for the second consecutive year. Beginning July
5th, Leaf players will take part in six separate one-week baseball camps to help players develop proper stretching, throwing, hitting, base running, and fielding, all to improve their game.

The camp days will be comprised of multiple activities, with a typical day looking like this:
